Why We Ask for Card Details
Moonbeam is a small, independent business and no-shows have a real impact on us. When a guest doesn’t turn up, we lose their custom and the custom of anyone we turned away to hold that table. Sadly, a small number of people booking and not showing up is a problem across the hospitality industry, and like many small businesses, we’ve had to introduce a policy to protect ourselves. We appreciate your understanding.
Card Details & Booking
To secure your table, we require a valid credit or debit card at the time of booking. Your card will not be charged at this stage.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please do so at least 24 hours before your reservation. You can cancel by emailing hello@moonbeamcoffeehouse.com or calling 07460 694380.
No-Show Policy
If you fail to arrive for your booking without cancelling in advance, a fee of £10 per cover will be charged to the card used at the time of booking. This also applies if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice.
Partial No-Shows
If your party size reduces significantly on the day, we reserve the right to reassign your table and may apply the no-show fee at our discretion.
Your Card Data
Your card details are held securely and processed in accordance with PCI DSS standards. We do not store your full card number. Details are held solely for the purpose of enforcing our no-show policy and will not be used for any other charges without your consent.
